Ms. Demeo is a native of Northern Berkshire and resides in Adams. Her education includes a Bachelors of Science in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, with current Massachusetts Certification (K-3) and (1-6); as well as a Masters of Education in Instructional Leadership and Curriculum Development from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
This is Ms. Demeo's 16th year teaching Kindergarten. In addition, she has been a Remedial Reading Teacher, a Practicum Supervisor for Student Teachers at MCLA, and is a licensed Driver's Education Instructor.
One of her passions is writing books for children and adults on local history. She has published the following books; "The Legend of Mt. Greylock; A History of a Mountain", "Susan"(early life of Susan B. Anthony), "Jefferson's Cheshire Cheese" and "The Rails of Northern Berkshire." She has also authored and illustrated two children's books; "The Garden Fairies" and "The Alphabet Sounds Like This...".
